ABOUT US

SKILLZ Ball Academy was started with an intention of providing a practice facility for ball sports to the juniors, both boys and girls, especially during the off season.  We are a group of 3 coaches, namely Jeevan Tauro, Anil Khanna & Haninder Dhillon with years of experience & have been coaching Cricket to junior Boys, Girls & Women in the lower mainland area. For the past few years, we have been renting school gyms & other indoor facilities during the off season to continue providing coaching to the youth. Our main goal was to start something of our own, to always have the availability & flexibility.
All 3 coaches were predominantly involved with cricket for years, first as players, then as coaches and now transitioned into mentorship role. Along the way a couple of coaches had their daughters play softball and this exposure got the involvement of one of the coaches to undertake softball as an additional sport to coach. The knowledge and experience gained by coaching the Girls softball team is now being put to fruition in this academy. The exposure in the softball community has created long standing relationships with other coaches in the community and we have involved them to create partnerships with us for coaching the youngsters.
We are encouraging all ball sports to have the knowledge of our academy so that they can take advantage of the 2000 Sq ft facility with 2 batting cages and pitching machines for baseball and softball. One of the cages has been extended for cricket to provide a run-up during practices and coaching. 2 bowling machines are available all the time.
The facility can be rented out for pitching clinics, batting sessions and drills. The nets are adjustable to suit your needs.
The facility can also be used for yoga, zumba and other fitness activities.
